What Could Cause Menstrual Irregularity?
doc, my wife had taken her last althea pills on July 20, 2012 and had her mens on July 26, 2012. we decided to stop it. Since then she stopped taking althea pills anymore and use condom instead after said mens. But now it is august 31, 2012 and yet her menstruation has not come yet. It is possible that she is pregnant?

At first, you should undergo one home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
Hormonal imbalance, stress, pelvic infection, over wt, irregular diet habit etc can cause irregular period. You may need to undergo one ultrasound scan and hormone test to confirm the diagnosis.
Kindly, consult with doctor following the test. You may require progesterone pill to induce period. Good luck.
