Yes, psychological factors like stress and strain, change in pattern of sleep, diet, exercise, etc. can lead to menstrual irregularity by affecting the reproductive 
hormonal balance in the body. If the irregularity persists, better to get evaluated. Clinical examination and investigations like 
ultrasound, blood 
hemoglobin levels, sugar levels, thyroid profile and serum 
prolactin levels can help in finding the possible cause of the irregularity in menstrual cycles.
According to that treatment can be planned. General measures like regular calorie burning exercise, balanced healthy diet, regular and adequate sleep of at least 7 to 8 hours per day and maintaining a normal
