What Could Cause Mild Stroke After Suffering From Migraine And Viral Fever?

My daugter 28yo was complining of migranes and a virus w/o fever was a few weeks. Then she lost some vision. She was admitted to the ER and they told her that she suffered several mini strokes. Can the virus cause this? Is there any hopeful prognosis?
