What Could Cause Numbness In Hands After Taking Antibiotics For Stomach Infection?
My girlfriend has a stomach bug/flu for the past 4 or so days, she went to a doctor today who told her to not eat solid food, only water for 24 hours, and the antibiotics he gave her, that it was.. to give the stomach lining a break as it was inflamed. this evening, she got a numbness in her hand/arm and she's very scared about it.

Hi,
From history it seems that she might have developed dehydration giving these symptoms.
Give her plenty of water, Electrolytes and ORS liquid.
If problem persisted then she may require IV fluids.
Go to ER and get examined.
Ok and take care.
