What Could Cause Occasional Dizziness, Eye/head Sensations, And Lingering Nausea After Waking Up From Sleep?

I've been having something weird happening for a while now during my sleep. My head and eyes go all weird and I wake up feeling dizzy and odd. It stays with me throughout the day I end up getting what is almost a sick feeling in my stomach but I never vomit or anything like that. It just takes me a while to get over it I end up feeling unwell throughout the day. I've had it for a good few years now. It doesn't happen very often though.
