What Could Cause On And Off Pain Under Right Side Of Ribs Going Towards Back?
I have been having pain for a few days now under the right side of my ribs and it goes to my back. All my blood work came back normal and my urine sample came back normal. I don t have a fever and I haven t been throwing up. I had pancreatitis two years ago due to alcohol but I haven t drank since then so that would be alcohol free for two years. I had an MRI done on Thursday this week and I went to the hospital today and they said everything was normal and didn t see anything exciting on it. I m so scared because I can feel something is wrong but don t know what it is. When I take advil it feels better but then comes back after.
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. Since all your reports are normal, no need to worry for major disease. Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more in your case. So better to follow these steps for symptomatic relief. 1. Avoid heavyweight lifting. 2. Avoid strenuous exercise. 3. Avoid movements causing pain and bad postures in sleep. 4. Apply warm water pad on affected site. 5. Start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. You will mostly improve in 1-2 weeks. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
