What Could Cause Passing Of Air From Ear And Sharp Pain?

Air is coming out of my right ear with a slight sharp pain on and off. I had an infection before this happened. I was prescribe some ear drops but it didn t clear the blockage of blood and pus. So i had attempted to clear the blockage with warm salt water and cleaning the outer area with cotton buds.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having pain in the ear with passing of air from the ear.
This symptom indicates a probable infection of the ear in the form of chronic otitis media with perforation of the tympanic membrane.
This requires examination by a ENT doctor for examination by otoscopy and treatment of the underlying cause.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
