What Could Cause Penile Split Around The Bottom Of The Head?

hello I am writing you because today while I was washing my penis, I noticed a split around the bottom of the head. it had a small amount of blood. It is not painful, but I do not know where it came it. could it be that the washcloth I use is too rough or has the skin become thin and sensitive? I am 75 years of age and not sexually active at this time. I do not masturbate. I may shake my penis when I urinate. please help me so that this problem would be one less problem that I have to worry about.
