What Could Cause Recurred Pain And Swollen Lymph Node After Being Treated For Lymph Node TB On Neck?

hello

iam a 19 year old girl .i was diagnosed lymph node tb on my neck and the was undertreatment till june . .

i took mediciens and also went antigravity drainage . .and now after 4 months there is lot of pain and the node is swelling again !

what should i do ?

I can understand your situation and problem.
Tuberculosis can recur at the same site.
So possibility of relapse or recurrence of tuberculosis is high in your case.
Another possibility is MDR (multi drug resistant) tuber.
You might be infected with MDR tb, so standard anti tb drugs which are resistant can not cure the lymphnode. And hence you are having larger swelling now.
So better to consult TB specialist, discuss about possibility of MDR tb.
You need fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) or excision biopsy with culture examination to rule out MDR tb infection.
