What Could Cause Recurrent And Painful, Bleeding Lump In Buttocks?

I just have a question, I went to a dermatologist yesterday and they had to do surgery on my but crack on the right side. I had a lump their that would get so big and then bleed and was painful. The dr got it out of me and said it will probably come back in over 10 years. I don't remember what it was. Any clue?

Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your description, you could have probably had either a prolapsed hemorrhoid or pilonidal sinus which had got infected.
Take care.
