What Could Cause Red And Sore Spots On Clitoris?

hi, iam 19 years old.
I recently discovered a very very sensitive red spot on the lose skin right below my clitourus.
it's only hurts when either I touch it or some like my under wear or clothing rubs against it.
I haven't had sex in a month now.
it rarely itches but it is very uncomfortable.
I have no clue where this came from.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It seems that you may be having candidal vulvovaginitis. However, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Candidal vulvovaginitis is a fungal disease caused by Candida albicans. You should undergo for investigations to rule out DM,HIV,any other immunocompromised conditions. Anti fungal like itraconazole or ketoconazole may be taken in proper dose for two weeks. Clotrimazole cream may be applied. You take Sitz bath in water containing dettol. You may be improved.I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
