What Could Cause Red Painful Abscess Post Partum?

I am 5 weeks post partum from a c sestion. I had developed an absess it was hard and red, painful and swollen,
it drained on wednesday, but is now still hard, red and warm, but in a smaller area than before, not painful unless I press on it.. I was on a 7 day rx of bactrim, took the last of the rx today.
Will this resolve on its own? or should I contact my dr. again today?

Hi,

You took antibiotics So it will subside, take nutritious food maintain hygiene at the suture site some amount of hardness will be present it will subside on its own.
