What Could Cause Red Raised Bumps All Over The Body?

I have red, raised bumps without pus on my torso, under and on my breasts, around my navel, and on my buttocks and back; I also have some on my ears, neck, and face. They itch mildly until I shower (as usual) in very warm water and then it becomes almost unbearable. The bumps form translucent scaly scabs that I scratch open in my sleep and leave dark spot when they heal. I have used several treatments (one entire 60g tube) of prescription 5% permethrins cream for scabies, but no matter how much I wash my clothing, bed linens, covers, and self, more bumps appear.
