What Could Cause Redness And Swelling In The Eyes, Headache, Fatigue And Blurred Vision?
husband s right eye manifested severe redness, watery, some swelling, very lite sensitive causing eye to want to close. He also was treated for a sinus infection. the round of antibiotics are complete and eye were treated with atropine drops and steroidal drop which has helped but still has headache on the top of his head, blurry vision and low energy. what could be the cause of this opthomalogist says it is internal not introduced or superficial.

Atropine and steroid drop, not a combination for treating any specific diseases. The medicine should not have started without diagnosing the indication. It will mask the symptom and cause other complication.

You are having epiphora but treatment with steroid and atropine drop is not a combination of treatment for any ailment. Sinus treatment is not related with any eye ailment.
To confirm sinusitis X-ray PNS is to be done and if there is haziness of sinus and sinusitis is confirmed then first antrum washout is to be done. No antibiotic is recommended since sinus is vacuum and drugs like antibiotic which is systemic does not reach sinus. Decongestant and antihistaminic like Levocetirizine can be given. You will get relief. Symptomatic treatment for headache and get yourself checked by ENT specialist.
