What Could Cause Redness In Left Eye?

since May my 3 year old daughter's left eye has redness to the sclera (white part of the eye) and the tissue below to almost her check bone. It is at its worst every evening & slowly improves by noon. It does the same thing even when we are on vacation. Do you have any idea what it could be.

Bacterial or allergic involvement are generally bilateral. In this case since unilateral so local cause should be thought of. It can be fb injury or lacrimal duct in involvement. A doctor should examine the child and look for these finding and then treatment can be decided.
