What Could Cause Severely Painful Chest After Suffering From Flu And Cough?

Chest pain in between breasts, side of breasts are soar. The pain is worse at night in bed when trying to lie on one side or the other. Particularly painful when sneezing or coughing. Recently had the flu 3 weeks ago followed by severe cough. Was coughing up some green yello phlem at the time.

I can understand your concern.
Possibility of lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) is more in your case.
LRTI is common after flu (viral upper respiratory tract infection).
And your symptoms like cough, greenish sputum, chest pain on coughing and sneezing (pleuritic pain) are suggestive of LRTI - pneumonia more.
So better to consult doctor and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. Chest x ray to rule out LRTI.
You may need antibiotics and antihistamines drugs.
So first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
