What Could Cause Sinus Histocytois?

I went in hospital because I could not breath. They did pet scan found lymp nobe were swollen. They did a byopcy on lymp nobe said I had sinus histocytois. I got out of hospital and was on a steroids for about a month went back to work after I was done with sterioids and it started all over again went back to doctor and steroids again done with steroids three days later it has started over again. Is there a doctor in Missiouri that knows any thing about this condition cause my doctor is not up on it.

Hi.
I can understand the plight one goes through if he has sinus histiocytosis.This is one condition where the cause (itiology) is not known).
Hence the treatment is also empirical and mostly in the form of steroids .
Newer research has been promising with interferon and immunitherapy treatment.
You can certainly meet a Rheumatologist in your area.
Alternatively any form of naturopathy like yoga, acupressure, can also help in some patients.
