Hi, I have a 9 month old. He has a smelly right ear with very small discharge that is contained in the ear itself, he has scratched it , however he does this normally and he is not off his food, no temp and sleeping well. A bit clingy. Then this evening at bath time noticed about 10-12 small red spots about 6-7 around his clavical areas although it had rubbed but 2-3 more on his tummy and 1-2 on hit buttocks. Again he ate his dinner and milk and no trouble going to bed. Smiling etc. I have dabbed some tea tree on the spots and the outer ear and just inside the ear canal ( the part seen by the eye). I thought I d leave it over night and see how he is. Should I been seeing a medico ??? are antibiotics really going to be necessary ??? Thanks XXXX
