What Could Cause Sudden Dizziness And Disorientation In An Octogenarian Despite All Tests Being Normal?

Yes, my 83 year old friend who is in very good health for his age woke up in the morning and for no apparent reason fainted and became disoriented, what could have caused his problem ? All his blood work, ekg, and other tests were normal. "He was told that it had been one of those days" That night when he laid down he became very dizzy again.
what could be causing his problem?

Hello & Welcome to HCM,
I had gone through the case and found that if all blood test are normal then it may be age related like Parkinson,Schizophrenia,Alzheimer's disease or any thing else due to chemical imbalance of brain . So i will suggest to consult with Neurologist for getting the proper diagnosis.Hope my answer will be effective for you.
Thanks,
