What Could Cause Sudden Fatigue, Low Appetite, Low Sex Drive, Rumbling Stomach With Thyroid Numbers Being Little Low?

For the past 4-5 months, I'm fatigued all the time. My appetite is not what it used to be and neither is my sex drive. Also, about 8 months ago, I started having constant rumbling noises in my abdomen. I had a physical a month ago and also got my testosterone checked and my thyroid. My physical was normal, CBC good, testosterone is "high", but my thyroid numbers were "a little low". I also have relatively constant pressure on the right side of my abdomen. What is my deal? Thanks!

Hi, I went through your query. Your thyroid hormones are low. That certainly explains your decreased appetite and loss of sex drive. The rumbling noises in your abdomen are a part of the digestion problems which is also caused by hypothyroidism. However the constant pressure on the right side is likely not due to hypothyroidism. It could be due to enlargement of some abdominal organ. I would advise you to take levothyroxine daily and take another test 3 months later to adjust the dose. And get an ultrasonogram of abdomen done now. Hope this helps.
