What Could Cause Sudden Fluctuations In Blood Pressure?

I am having problems with my blood pressure. I am 60 years old and started with this about 8 days ago. I am taking medication and the highest it gets is 120/69/78. It does not last long and it drops to 108/67/81. What can i do to keep it the way i used to have it at 134/77/79. That s where I feel good.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Blood pressure variation is seen commonly. You are having a mild variation. Diurnal fluctuations and day to day fluctuations are commonly seen.
2. The variation is seen due to position, stress, medication and hormonal changes.
3. If the blood pressure falls below 90/60, then only it is worrisome. Not to worry now.
4. If you have any dizziness, move slowly during change in posture. Take plenty of water.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again
