What Could Cause Symptoms Like Black Out, Diarrhea, Stomach Upset Problems?

Hi, I am four days late which is a concern since I am NEVER late. I got off my birth control last month. I have taken three pregnancy tests and all were negative but now all of a sudden I am sick to my stomach, black out everytime I stand up, and have diarrea. What would the problem be?

Hello,

Testing too early can give false negative results. It is best to take home pregnancy tests at least a week after a missed period. The symptoms could also be due to mild viral gastroenteritis. Follow a soft and liquid-based diet for the next few days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
