What Could Cause Tender Spot On The Abdomen That Is Hurting Internally?

Hi, when standing, I have a tender spot to touch on my upper abdomen. To push on it, it doesn't hurt internally but it's more so superficial pain. On a scale of 1-10 about a 3.. What concerns me though, is there seems to be a hollow indentation there?? And I've never noticed this before.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi

Thanks for writing to HCM.

You seem to be having an epigastric hernia.

You need to show it to a surgeon for a clinical examination to come to a diagnosis and further management.

Regards
Dr. Ashish Verma
