What Could Cause Tingy Numbness At The Back?

Hi there, I have a tingly numbness on the left side of my back. At first I thought it was shingles, but it has never become anything. It has been there for about 2 months now. It is not painful just annoying. I would love to know what it may be caused by. Thanks
