What Could Cause Tonsils To Be Grey And Hanging?

While having my tubal surgery i was sleep so i dont know what happen that same day i notice my toncils was grey and hanging everytime i eat or drink anything it feels like im going to swallow my tocils they look grey it hurts really bad everytime i eat or drink i dont know whats wrong what should i do?

This seems to be tonsillitis, take tablet amoxyclav 625 twice
tablet zerodol sp twice
hexidine gargles
