Hi,

According to your history better to consult your gynecologist once and get examined. By clinical examination only the discharge can be distinguished between physiological and pathological. And also the depth and length of the cut be identified and the treatment option can be planned.

In case of physiological discharge vaginal wash with pH 3.5 to 4.5 is helpful. In case of pathological discharge you may need systemic and local antibiotics. Minor cuts may not need any specific treatment, cuts with depth with the continuous ooze of blood may need sutures sometimes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
