What Could Cause White Dots On The Upper Chest & Arms ?

I have very tiny white dots on my upper chest & my upper arms. I ve had them since I can remember. They can t be felt but you can clearly see them. They aren t itchy or red or ever irritated. I looked online & the number one answer was vitiligo, but when I looked vitiligo up, I realized that I definitely do not have that. I have no clue what this could be but I m looking for a treatment ASAP. Thank you!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis most probably. No need to worry..as they are benign and harmless dots. They may be kept untreated. The condition is not vitiligo. It may be related to aging process.

Hope this helps.
