What Could Chest Pain, With Normal ECG Report Suggest?

I am having a problem which may be related to the heart (as per my home physician). The problem is that a pain is being initiated from the middle of my chest and spreading throughout the chest. During this period I am having an uneasy feeling and the pain persists for around 5-10 minutes. During the pain, consumption of water (in small quantity) relieves me for some seconds and again the pain starts. During the initiation of the pain, slight pain is observed in the hed as well as the ache The ECG reports are normal and the TMT report is negative too.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to worry for heart diseases as your ecg and TMT (trade mill test) both are negative.
Since your pain is relieved by water, possibility of acute gastritis related chest pain is more likely.
So take pantoprazole tablet on empty stomach twice daily.
Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
Loose weight if you are obese.
Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
