What Could Chest Tightness, Breathing Difficulty And Fatigue With History Of COPD Indicate?

My roommate is 66 years old and has COPD. For a few days, she's complained of chest tightness, but no pain; a sensation of not moving air well, but her sats are consistently above 90; and she has a low-ish pulse rate (59). She is also very fatigued.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.
Chest tightness, breathing difficulty and fatigue all are probably due to COPD which needs to be assessed and evaluated properly. A spirometric assessment, assessment of symptoms and future risk for exacerbations are needed to grade her disease and treat accordings to control her COPD in the best possible way. For this you need to consult a pulmonologist and get yourself thoroughly examined and should undergo the necessary investigations.
Thank you.
