What Could Constant Abdominal Pain And Quick Weight Loss Indicate?

My sister is 5 foot 10 and is 24 years old and weighs 110 pounds, a month ago she weighed 125 pounds, she went to the doc and they said she had gastronitis and an ulcer, they havent done much about it, but i feel like it may be something else, she has a hurt stomach all the time, she can hardly eat, and she looks almost like a skeleton, just a little curious what another doctors prospective of this would be, i feel like she needs a second opinion on this she keeps dropping so much weight, she lost 5 pounds in less then a week. Please tell me what you think this could be and what she should do?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, abdomen complain in this age is most probably due to stress and this could be the cause for ulcer and hyperacidity in my opinion it could be hyperacidity but ulcer may be less likely it is better to get done some test or have a opinion from gastroenterologist, till then "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg" once in day for six weeks, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
