What Could Constant Breast Pain While Breathing Suggest?

For the last 24 hours I have been getting really sharp pains under my left breast, it feels like it's behind my rib cage and mainly occurs when I take deep breathes or laugh. Also if I lay the wrong way I will feel a sharp pain. I have had this before but it has never lasted this long and been so constant.
