What Could Constant Dull Pain In Left Side Of Belly Button Suggest?

I have a dull pain to the left of my belly button. It stays there all the time and it does not matter what I eat. The irritation has been there for about two days. I am a healthy 57 year old female with no history of symptom and I am free of any daily medication-I do take a multi-vitamin. Any ideas to help sooth it or do I need to be seem? Thank you.

it can be colitis or uti.clinical examination by physician is essential. urine and stool mexamination is to be done. if any thing detected it should be treated.
