What Could Continual Twitch In Left Ear And Eyes Indicate?

I am 49 year old female and in excellent health, but for a year now I have had a twitch under my left eye. Comes and goes throughout the day everyday. About two months ago, I've started hearing what seems to be a twitch inside my left year. Starting to become annoying. Theres no pain. I went to my doctor and he didn't know what was causing this and recommend me to see a Neurologist. Don't know if something going on with a nerve on left side or muscle spasms. But this has been going on for over a year now, I need answers. Please help.

hello, thanks for your query, muscle twitch just below d eyes and in corresponding ear could be due to nerve irritation secondary to variety of lesions , this neuralgic pain can be managed by tab. tegretol once daily for 1 week. before that kindly do one screening ct brain plain and ent consultation to c any other ear abnormalities. all d best. take care.
