What Could Cracking Of Penis On Erection And Subsequent Limpness Indicate?
Hello while trying to get an erection for the first time in over two years I was able to hold an erection after a couple of tries but on the third try I got my penis erect and then I heard a popping/cracking sound and my penis went limp but there was no pain and it felt like I had to go to the bathroom. I am able get somewhat erect but not for very long. I checked other websites and the information that I have got showed it is normal and others saying I tore tissue. I am 44 years old.
Popping sound of the penis when it was in a stage of erection without any bruising followed by penis becoming flaccid and difficulty in getting sustainable erection strongly suggest that you have sustained injury to Tunica Albugenia an sheath that envelops erectile tissue (Corpora Cavernosa) and could be due to venous leak .. You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and get following two basic tests done to establish diagnosis . 1) Ultrasound Scanning of Penis 2) Color Doppler Ultrasound Scanning of Penis .
Further treatment will depend upon the results of these tests and final diagnosis . Dr.Patil.
