What Could Cystic Mass In The Ultrasound Report Suggest?

I had ultrasound today and they had remarks: The uterus is anteverted measuring 53x33x28mm. The endometrium is intact measuring 5mm. The myometrical echopattern is homogenous. no focal solid or cystic masses seen. There is a rounded cystic mass with diffuse low level echoes in the cavity noted in the right adnexa measuring 82x62x76mm.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.Uterus is anteverted - it means anteriorly lie in relation ship to the bladder. Which is normal variation of the uterus lie.
2.Endometrium is intact with measurement 5mm. Myometrium appears normal. No evidence of any mass lesions in the uterus.
3.Right adnexa ( right side to uterus and right pelvic part ) probably from the right ovary.
4.Diffuse levels of echo goes towards hemorrhagic cyst. Much characterisation of the cyst is not given / you have not mentioned from the report.
5.In this case if it is complex cyst - operative removal is treatment of choice, where as cyst with simple cyst characteristics can be monitored, if causing any mass effect on adjacent vessels, bladder, ureters - excision. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
