What Could Dark Patch On Scrotum Be?

I was with my boyfriend last night and noticed a small dark patch on the front of his scrotum. He didn't seem to notice it and I didn't ask him about it, it's never been there before. It's not red, more of a very dark ash color. Any ideas? Hes a healthy 25 year old if that helps. Thanks

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
I dont think this is related to testicles and it sounds more likely to be dermatologic condition. So he should do dermatologic examination to see if there is dysplastic nevus or hiperpigmentation due to other skin disorders.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
