I had a mri done this last week with contrast in the knee joint the report says Impression 1 Moderate ACL graft degeneration without high - grade rupture or insufficiency.2. Marked truncation of the medial meniscus, likely prior partial meniscectomy.3. Complex degenerative tearing of the lateral meniscus.4. Severe tricompartmental chondromalacia with degenerative synovitis.I had my knee reconstructed in April and then fell forward on both knees 4 days later my knee has been very swollen and the Dr has had to draw the fluid out every 3 weeks I can barely walk. can you explain this to me. I have fibromyalgia, RA, Lyme disease, CPS, CFS

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The report suggest there are post operative changes with degenerative changes in the joint bones and space.
2.There is a signal intensity changes in the ligament - possibly partial tear in the ligament.
3.The cartilage shows changes of softening and thinning as mentioned in report with meniscus post operative changes.
4.The synovial space shows changes of inflammation with signal changes and enhancement probably.
5.Treatment is initially antibiotic treatment to treat any infective / inflammatory changes followed by surgical treatment, if every thing supports TKR might be the treatment of choice.

Good luck.
Hope i have answered your query,
