What Could Delayed Periods And Light T-line On Kit Indicate?

Hi, i had my last period on 9th jan 2014. was suppose to get the next one on 9th feb but it skipped, so i checked my preganancy by using a Velocit Pregnancy testing kit on 11th feb, where as it showed dark line in C Section a very lite (But Visible )line on T section, so iam confused if i am pregnant or not, can you all pls help me to know this...

Hi,

Thanks for using HCM.

A faint line means the following possibilities:
1. Pregnancy; too early testing may show a faint line. You have tested within 3 days of missed period while the ideal time is at least 7 days after the missed period. So the test may give a better result after a few days.
2. Missed abortion: meaning that pregnancy occurred but is no longer alive. The chance is less in your case as you have tested early and is still showing a faint line.
3. False positive result; happens sometimes and is an inherent nature of most tests.

I suggest that you get the test repeated after 5-6 days. If it is still weekly positive, an ultrasound 14 days after the missed period will be needed to look for pregnancy and condition of the baby.
