What Could Delayed Periods Post Intake Of Clomipure Indicate?

Hello Dr, I took clomipure 100mg from day 3 to day 7 and unfortunately my last month IUI got cancelled. Now I m waiting for my period. Today is day 32 and usually my period will come on sharp 28th day. I m worried can u plz help me..I did pregnancy test which shown as negative. Now my worry is why my period getting delayed..plz clarify me Dr

Hi,

Delay in periods can occur due to stress, newer medications, sudden change in lifestyle or even long travel in some women. The chance of pregnancy should also be considered. You have taken a pregnancy test when you have missed your period by 4 days. This could be too early in some women. Kindly repeat the test by 10 days of missed period to get a reliable result. Blood beta hCG hormone test can also be taken since it is more sensitive than urine test.
