What Could Dizzy Spells Be While Standing Or Lying Down And Hand Numbness With High BP?

my husband has had high blood pressure since he was 20 and he is now 44. he takes medicine but the last few weeks has been experiencing dizzy spells. he has them while standing or lying down. they are really bad when he first wakes up. he bhas also had numbness in his hands. what is a possible problem?

There are several possibilities – postural hypotension / electrolyte disturbances / cervical spondylitis/ Cerebro-vascular insufficiency / inner ear disease… and so on
See an Internist / get him examined / basic investigation may be necessary...
