What Could Episodes Of Dizziness And Hot Flashes Indicate?
My daughter is feeling sick, she says it comes in waves and she goes red hot and sweaty but isn't actually vomiting. She also said she feels dizzy and light headed. I want to get her some medicine but not sure what to get to ease her symptoms? Can you advice what to buy and what is wrong with her?

As per your query you have your daughter have episodes of dizziness and hot flashes . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to either changes in reproductive hormones ( specially estrogen )or change in your body's thermostat . There can be more serious problem also like the carcinoid syndrome ( rare condition ) , which results from a type of endocrine tumor that secretes large amounts of the hormone serotonin can cause hot flashes . Sometimes dizziness caan also occur due to ear related problems like meniere's disease . I would suggest you to consult doctor for proper examination . Doctor will take history and order blood test . Doctor may prescribe hormonal therapy , antiemetic drugs along with anti depressants . For now take proper rest and drink plenty of water .
