What Could Episodes Of Profuse Sweating, Pressure In Abdomen And Nausea Indicate?

I am weary about going to the hospital because I am 34 years old, 4 11 tall, and weigh 97 pounds. Ive never had major health problems but this past week I ve had two episodes that are very weird. I ll break out in a sweat throughout my body, I ll feel lightheaded and like I can t catch my breath, then nausea but a different kind of nausea I m not used to feeling. More like a pressure in my upper stomach. I feel like I m having an anxiety attack but I know it s not-that s just the closest thing I can say to describe this weird episode. after these episodes, I am very tired and can sleep for 12 hours straight.

Hi,

There can be various reasons for your light-headedness and discomfort in the stomach. It can be due to muscle strain which may be associated with abnormal posture during sleep or work. However, it can also be due to cervical disc diseases (neck-related problems) or vitamin deficiencies, low hemoglobin, low blood sugar and prolonged fasting.Even stress and anxiety can also cause such symptoms. Also need to rule out gastritis or reflux disease due spicy and oily food.

We also need to rule out heart problems and problems associated with the brain (infection or swelling). I feel that you maintain a proper posture, and take a balanced diet. Take plenty of water. Avoid tea, coffee and oily and spicy food. Take care of your posture. If however the symptoms still persist then go for some investigations like complete blood count, vitamin d levels, X-ray neck, ECG, and MRI.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
