Good day. I took a urine test because it hurts when I pee. Its been going on for a week now. I got the result and I want to know what it means.Color : Yellow Appearance: Hazy Specific Gravity: 1.020 pH: 6.0 Sugar: Negative Albumin: TraceWBC: 20-25/hpf RBC: 3-4/hpf Amorphous Urates: Moderate Bacteria: Few Epithelial Cells: Moderate Mucus Threads: Moderate I hope that you could help me understand it. Thanks.
Your findings suggests urinary tract infection(UTI). UTI is indicated by hazy appearance of urine and presence of excessive WBC,RBC and few bacteria in urine. RBC in urine may be related to UTI. Trace amount of albumin and mucus threads are normally found in urine.
You need clinical correlation and investigations like routine hemogram,renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report. You should drink plenty of fluids.
