What Could Excessive Saliva, Hard Stomach With Short And Light Periods Indicate?

I have Had excessive saliva, and the top part of my stomach has been hard for a couple of weeks... I thought I was pregnant but I had a test done at the doctor and it was negative.. then I had my period but it was irregular . It was light and only lasted like 3 and half days but my period normally last 7 days

Hi,

Sometimes gastritis, gastrointestinal infections like causes can also lead to excessive salivation and upper abdominal pain. During the premenstrual period also this type of symptoms can be seen. Some amount of irregularity in menstrual cycles can be seen frequently due to different causes that affect the reproductive hormone levels. Usually the menstrual flow between 2 to 7 days can be considered as normal only, according to that your menstrual flow can be taken as comparatively low but normal menstrual flow.

As your urine pregnancy test kit gave negative result the possibility of pregnancy is less. If you want to be sure, please go for a blood test for pregnancy, which is more accurate compared with a urine test. If the serum beta HCG levels in the blood test are less than 5 mIU/mL it rules out the possibility of pregnancy.
