What Could Extreme Hair Fall Post Taking Multiple X Rays Indicate?

Just the past month each time I wash my hair gobs come out. last month I went to a dentist & she gave me 12 x-rays of my teth --since them my hair is falling out in big bunches. I ve always had a lot of hair --I m a young 80 yr old women , still woking 8 hrs a day as an Ins. Agent. The Dr/ I go to has me on l0 Mil of Lisiniprol. What can I do --I think it is the high blood pressure medicine doing this to me. Whats your answer? Mary L.

Is there any problem on scalp such as dandruff or fungal infection etc. In that case it should be treated first.

This is one big cause of hair fall.

Telogen phase of hair cycle , if more than 100-150 hair shafts fall, is called hair loss. Some anti HTN med cause hairfall but reverses once med is stopped. Interestingly some anti HTN med like Minoxidil are used to treat baldness.

X-ray of teeth does not seem related with your problem.

You have asked this much. However, Ayurveda has the answer. If you need , we ll tell you.
