What Could Feeling Of Painful Lumps In Left Breast Indicate?
Okay so for about a year I have had a lump in my left breast and about two months ago I felt that that lump had gotten bigger and it was burning and hurting really bad and about three days ago I felt it again and there were more lumps about two big ones and like three or 4 small ones and still to this day it hurts really bad and I m getting really worried cuz my right breast is completely normal. Is there any way u can help me?
Painful lumps in the breast should be investigated immediately to rule out any tumours. The pain and increase in size is of great concern. You may have to take a mammogram as a first step.Any history of discharge from the lumps should also be ruled out. A biopsy which refers to examining a small amount of tissue retrieved from breast to be observed under microscope will be done. This test can help in differentiating a benign tumour and a malignant tumour. Treatment will be based on the result.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
