What Could Feeling Of Salty Taste In Food, Fatigue And Reduced Appetite Indicate?

Hi. I ve been feeling less than lately.....fatigued, weak, no appetite.....just tired but I know I need to eat and drink fluids to maintain. However, everything I put into my mouth, food or beverage, just taste like I m eating a spoon full of tablesalt. It s terrible. Could this mean something in particular?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

I would recommend an elaborate blood profile, but more importantly a check on your blood pressure and blood glucose profile. Blood pressure changes can usually cause such a presentation, but this is again only a suspicion and will have to be backed up with its respective findings.

Best wishes.
