What Could Fever Post ASD Surgery Suggest?

My sister son had a ASD surgery last week. He was in the hospital for days and after that they discharged him. After coming home he was ok for 3 days and after that he got fever. Now he is in the hospital for 2 days and still having fever. What could be the reason ?

I have gone through you question carefully. Postoperative fever ( usually

within the first 2 weeks) is due to infection and needs to be treated very

aggressively. Blood culture will need to be done.
