What Could Fever,swelling And Yellow Pus Denote While Bitten By Dog?
My mon was bite by a dog and was seen in an after hours clinic no X-rays were done no cleaning of wound all they did was give her and antibiotic and now the swelling is getting worse the hand has a fever and has yellowish puss coming out of it any suggestions

It looks like the wound has got infected. Please approach a GP for a proper dressing of the wound. Continue the antibiotics given by them. Please do not ignore this any longer as the infection might enter the blood stream and cause sepsis
