What Could Foul Vaginal Odor Suggest?

yes my daughter is 13 years old and has concerns with her vagina having bad odor. i thought it was her period coming but she has had that now for 6 months, she is so concerned. she showers everyday and takes good care of herself but is so self conscience.please advise
